Surely you must be looking for a lot more, the proven TTS will produce 600+ and takes a couple of weeks to fitChargedrs4 wrote:internals are factory fully forged, its all about the tune and fueling ,the goal is 600 plus awhp
And given that people like Heffner are already claiming up to 690 engine bhp (600whp) on 100octane (US rating) fuel without engine mods for their TT on an R8 V8 (which is the same engine) http://heffnersperformance.net/R1RS4 wrote:Surely you must be looking for a lot more, the proven TTS will produce 600+ and takes a couple of weeks to fitChargedrs4 wrote:internals are factory fully forged, its all about the tune and fueling ,the goal is 600 plus awhp
The TTS does 600+ crank not 600 at the wheels. I don't think the TTS cars would break 450 wheel horsepower on a dynojet type dyno - I do believe the MRC dynoes are somewhat optimistic.R1RS4 wrote:the proven TTS will produce 600+ and takes a couple of weeks to fit
I dissagree about the MRC dyno being optimistic (call me biased if you want), Surrey rolling road measured my car at 515hp or 522ps, and that was without the powerful intercooler blowers MRC use, seems about right to me.JCviggen wrote:I do believe the MRC dynoes are somewhat optimistic.
+1SuprSi wrote:Hmm, 600awhp, so that should be roughly 720 at the crank assuming ~20% losses.. Nuts!

Not much of a worry unless you'd go to a trackday...in Dubai.Shinobi675 wrote:Idiot question alert! Is there any problems with putting the intercooler in front of the rad? The rad will be getting warmer air now.
nothing wrong whith end thanks they flow very well actually we tested themRossDagley wrote:The endtank on the intercooler there is quite inefficient. Is that something you'll change if you end up selling a kit?
