Hi Tony.

I have seen a solution where they used a piece of radiator hose that was connected to the hoover and then squeezed into the effected port. You then cut a small hole in the hose to push a 6 inch or so nozzle for the walnut blaster through and into the port.

I did see this kit on offer at toolstation and was tempted - http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Power+T ... 164/p93604

when Audi did mine they used media blasting, but I don't think it was walnut shells, looked like a fine, light blue, powdered plastic (probably recycled stuff?)
they pulled the plugs and used a vacuum while doing it, then suck the cylinder out when done

I had my RS4 Terracleaned (outlet clean) and MRC decarbonised (inlet clean) and I see 439PS after a fab remap by Doug.
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3
