Oh yes I love carbon, I've just built a light weight carbon mountain bike that has cost a fortune to make sure all the components are lightweight too.

They were delivered today but I was out. Will get them Monday,

The one that was done a while back that was just the standard diffuser just carbon looked good but argon said they're doing abother variant of it too, shouldn't be too long hopefully, not a fan of their front splitter

No I'm not a fan of the splitters either. I have my oil splitter and grill surround carbon but that's enough for me up front. I have thought the Audi logo but don't really want to take it away from the OEM+ look.

i dont like the chrome on mine so will most probably do the front badge carbon, ive done it black for a while but reverted back to chrome as i blended in too much, im having the rear one made at the minute,

ive only seen one, not a fan of the sides where it flares out, its also too deep, i prefer the dtm splitter even tho its not for the rsf it still looks like a more subtle better fit.

will hopefully get out to get some pics of the new wheels this weekend.
Do you mind me asking what kind of cost was involved in the badges? I'm going titanium optics in the new year and after seeing these i think they would look the part...!

no progress on the brakes at the minute due to the new kitchen going in but I have had 5 mins to fit some smoked indicators and make a new front badge using the carbon argon badges.

Image

waiting on a few bits from argon at the minute.

waiting for a good day to get the wax out and also get some decent pictures of the new wheels.

small update

ive been busy trying the 390s on and they will fit but need adamters making up so will draw some up soon.

the badges are on and was going to get some pics but i had the fan problem so had to take the front bumper off to get to the controller.

while the bumper was off i decided to do the headlights again, something which ive been meaning to do for a while, th smoked tint film i put on did dim the headlights some what so they had to go but i didnt like all the chrome inside, so i opened them up again.

Image

when i did the clear corner mod back in the day i didnt like the fact there were no lenses, so i bought some drl lights initionall i was going to retrofit these into the drl housing but they were too small.

Image

took them appart

Image

fitted in the indicator housing

Image

Image

i also covered the front chrome strip in carbon wrap, i wasnt going to put fake carbon on here but the new stupp looks pretty good and is glossy now unlike the old vinyl.

Image

and the finished article all sprayed satin black, will get a better finished pic at the weekend as light in the kitchen was too direct
