very helpful!
are you a member?
can you post the 2 linked data?

Technical information from product article no.: 2012712/3
All Audi: hard clutch Pedal / receding very slowly release date: mar 29, 2007
Exposure of the client / verification of the workshop
All AUDI with manual transmission: the clutch pedal back very slowly, the clutch pedal pressure is suddenly stronger than usual or pressure point is undefined ('spongy'). The claim occurs mostly sporadically, often only with the Group of hot transmission.

Technical background
The diameter of the tube of the clutch pressure close sporadically due to the formation of bubbles.

Implementation in the series
Implementation of optimized pressure tubes.
Measure
Replace the clutch pressure tube. Spare parts only provides optimized tubes.

Prior to replace components, please check if there are other causes of the behavior of the clutch pedal:
-purging the clutch according to repair Manual system.
-check internal leaks according to the TPL2012776.
-check external leaks (visual control: leakage, loss of hydraulic fluid)

With these findings is not find out the cause in the hydraulic system, whether from a defect in the mechanical parts of the clutch. In this case, and according to our knowledge, the claim occurs continuously and not only sporadically.

Indications for liquidation
Prepare a normal DISS (an obligation of communication before the repair not needed nor a technical consultation). Use the following interim coding in the DISS:
0126031098 Motor > area hydraulic clutch > clutch pressure tube > greater consumption/wear/damage > not codifiable in DISS
AT No. / malfunction: 3023 010 (pressure tube clutch / mechanical failure)

This TPL does not affect any of the other obligations of communication indicated in the ELSA who maintain their validity. In the DISS please describe more precisely possible in 'additional information regarding the evaluation of the workshop' tests, results and actions/reparations and its results. Your contribution helps us actively in our field observations and take advantage you enormously because we can provide them information for their claims much faster

edit: I don't know how you found this, but it fits the symptoms exactly
this is the first time I've ever seen anything actually from Audi re: this issue...and I've looked far & wide

Ha ha. It's amazing what you can find when surfing on the net, on your smart-phone, whilst pretending to watch Downton Abbey (yet another British Costume Drama), nodding occasionally when your partner comments on the garbage.

I'm not a member of that forum (unfortunately). But the key thing to remember with those audi TPI numbers is the "/1/2/3 etc".
They are the revision when updates to file happen. Ignoring those "should" return some results to the original article.
So, I had originally quoted "/4"... which is the Audi UK latest revision on this fault/issue. After my discussions with Audi UK and pending the stealers findings this week.... it "may" become "/5".
If that is, there's anything new to add.
