Oh I will be, but to have part numbers and the knowledge they are available puts the discussion well into my favour

Right. I've been sneaky and Aberdeen Audi can find the part number for me if I give them the chassis number of a car that has the Black Optic pack fitted.

So, does anyone with black optics (saloon) fancy shooting me a PM with their chassis number and I'll be able to find the part numbers? I'll post them up here too as I believe these numbers are hard to find!

Too late! They cant replace it without the part number, so they've now ordered new Alu look trim instead and this will be installed.

I'll just wrap the trim in 3M carbon wrap when I get it back methinks

The part numbers for both black optics and alu are on ETKA - which all Audi dealers use to look up part numbers - they were just too damn lazy to do it.
