"Normal" driving around town and I'll not be too bothered about the ESP (but I'll always have the sport button on)

If I foresee any spirited driving ahead of me or hard accelration off a roundabout / out of a junction etc then I switch ESP off completely (Press and hold)
I just find it far too intrusive when it kicks in. A fixed 60/40? Quattro car does not require ESP in normal driving conditions although in saying that it did come in handy once or twice during the heavy snow through December - especially when parking the car in the drive which is on slight slope.
All other times its just a nuisance.

I found it easier in the snow if I turned the ESP off!?

How odd that the designers of these cars have a light ON when the function is actually OFF ????
I find it odd that the ESP light flashes when only part disabled but is solid when fully off. You'd think the more "dangeous" option would flash...
couldn't agree more
"you can be my wingman anytime!"
"bullshit...you can be mine!"
