told these fault codes are due to using RON 95 sometimes?!
Re: told these fault codes are due to using RON 95 sometimes
@Doug_S2
I still have the above error code - vacuum system should really be ok now. Maybe it is the manifold gasket on bank 1? I heard somewhere that this can produce a similar error?
Or maybe it's the either the intake manifold runner control valve or the secondary air injection valve?

I have the same codes, does anyone have some input into how to actually test the car using the vac pump? Is it as simple as disconnecting a section and drawing a vacuum and seeing if it can hold it?

Interestingly, I'm also starting to get the same codes! Have ordered a vacuum pump to do some testing.
Have previously run the airbox intake flap test which ran fine, and also logging the intake runner flaps shows them opening like they should. Will re-run these tests as well and see if they are still working properly while I wait for the pump to arrive.
Did anybody else successfully resolve this code?

So I only have the engine too rich off idle code, after clearing it I can get around 70 miles before it comes on again.
I have run a "flap" test and all seems well. I have no airbox flap due to cold air feed and I can see the inlet flaps moving nicely. I did some logging of inlet flap demand and position and all looks good. The car holds vacuum, when I disconnect a vac hose and I get a hiss so I am assuming it holds vacuum fine.
I have read of the flaps getting blocked by a small amount of carbon build up blocking the valve. But the error codes I get are for bank 1 and 2 so I would need to have the both banks blocked which is hard to believe? The car was carbon cleaned 2 years ago, but I get a respectable 8.5 3-8k 3rd gear pull so I don't think I am due another clean!
I am a little unsure of the next step, could it be the lambda sensor or am I going to have to take the inlet manifold off?

Could be the re-map, give MRC a call to see what they say.

How do you mean?
The car was mapped a long time ago, and the issue has only just started.

Re-mapping eats into Audi's tolerance, stage 2 is custom to the car and perhaps even more aggressive. If the cars natural state of tune changes over time due to wear and tear. The re-map potentially could be the cause, hence suggesting getting in touch with MRC to see what they say.
