iv just had mine to the dealers and had the front bumper off to replace the rads, i noticed the front looked a bit off, and took it back, i knew they were bullshiting me when they said it couldnt be sorted out.

These are the panel gaps off the cabrio but I don't see it being any different to the saloon/avant

This is very annoying as they are clearly fobbing you off ! show them the picture then get them to go out to your car with a feeler guage or "special tool 3371" and show you how it all lines up.

that's not a B7 pic but why would a B6 have an adjustable gap at the top of the grille?
I take it ELSA is using a B6 pic to depict a B7 issue, not ideal for fighting your case with Audi!

I've removed 2 x B7 front bumpers this week.

The mounting on the bumper iron is really clever.
You slot the bumper skin into it, turn it clockwise with a long Torx key.
This initially locks the bumper skin flange into the mounting.
Keep turning and the reverse thread on the mounting which locates it into the bumper iron, unwinds itself from the iron and raises the bumper up.
I initially thought that if you were careful you could remove and refit without disturbing the setting but the bumper is locked into the mounting so the adjustment needs to be made every time it goes off and back on as unlocking it messes with the adjustment.

unfortunately your right, elsa is using a B6 to depict a B7 on this issue.

No i think it was a dealers car then 2 private owners then me only had 13k when i bought it a year ago now has 27k a year later.
