Out of interest PG do you know the rough cost for shocks through TPS?

My car is over 5 years in May and I'm already putting aside money for the DRC (and Rads, Oil Cooler, Brakes, de-coke, tyre sensors but I digress!). My main concern with putting on coilovers is the insurance. I've found comparision site quotes go through the rough when you tick the modified suspension box.

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do you know if you have an issue with the DRC. several people say they have changed to coil overs which lower the ride height and close the gap in the wheelarch. As i have just bought mine is there anything i can check to see if i still have the original suspension or coilovers. The gap in the wheel is is very minimal but that could be standard on all. As there are only a handful of rs4s over here in jersey - its hard to find another one to compare it against. Also is there any checks to see if the drc is working?

again please excuse my ignorance

thanks

Craig

Does anyone have a copy of the letter from the head of audi uk for the DRC as i was thinking of taking mine in and having them look at it before the 5 year thing runs out?
