Caterham 7 for road and track days - 210bhp + sod all weight = lots of fun
Escort Cosworth Monte - currently only running 260bhp but will be undergoing a bit of a restoration next spring and power going up to about 380bhp.

My wife also has a Skoda Octavia vRS - but that's totally standard as I'm not allowed to mess about with it!

I do like Corrados - I had a G60 for 2 years back in 1995 / 6 - great car. Picked it up for a good price from a main dealer as it was white (before white came back into fashion!) - but I thought white really suited it. Did toy with getting a VR6 but the escort cozzie won because it looks outrageous and is much more tuneable.

Had a black G60 for many years, looked its best on 17 Borbet C's, with Koni/Eibachs, handled its best on OZ 15, std springs (car was over-sprung from the factory) & Koni shocks.

Another good example in depreciation vs running costs - suffered very little deprciation as bought at 3 years old & sold to an enthusiast but was costing 800 a service to keep perfect.

Other toys include:

Subaru Impreza 22B, totally rebuilt engine with bigger turbo, bigger injectors, etc, etc, Apexi, re-mapped by Andy Forest. 350 bhp and a whole lot of fun, raw, un-refined and quicker than the RS too. Absolutely love it but I've had it 5 years now and feel its time for a change and a new toy has caught my eye,- a Noble. No fear though, the RS4 will not be getting sold!

My other 'big' toys are 2 wheeled;

Mountain bike; Trek 'Fuel' 100 Carbon, World Cup adjustable front suspension, Rock Shox adjustable rear suspension, Shimano XTR throughout.

Road bike; Trek 5500 Carbon,Zipp Carbon wheels, full Shimano Dura ace.
Current;
Porsche 997.1 GT3RS. Pure Orange, ceramics, etc, Sharkwerks exhaust
BMW 2002 restomod; Turbo body kit, S14 M3 Evo engine and lots more
Audi Q3 Black edition Quattro

Previously enjoyed;
Ibis White B7 RS4 Avant : TTS Supercharged 615ps/614 nm
Subaru Impreza 22B
Noble M400
TVR 400SE
Lotus Sunbeam Avon

I remember mine looked a lot better lowered, probably still as much arch-gap as my R32 or the RS4 as had forgotten how tall they were from the factory ! Was yours one of the limited Karmann cars or just more colour choice later on in their lives - I was looking for an ink-blue one but the black one came up and was cheaper + less miles & better condition so I had to compromise on colour choice ?

I also have a 1988 MB UR quattro - its white, two owners and approx 78000 fully documented miles - it is in pretty good nick...doesn't really compare to the RS in terms of drive-ability but I am pretty attached to it - have owned it about 7 years now
