RS4 and dealership experiences

Well I called up, made an appointment came down on time & then looked at the car. Salesman then spent ages trying to get a part-ex value on my car & have me agree to buy if testdrive was satisfactory & then told me a test drive was impossible as didn't have my driving licence with me - I said they could check with the DVLA but he said I would have to come back on a different day with my DL at which point I walked out never to hear from them again.

Non-Audi garage I bought my car from took me out for a drive (DL not asked for) & valued the part-ex whilst on the test drive & called back that afternoon to finalise the deal.

Which garages were they (Audi/Non Audi)?

I would stay well clear of Audi Slough if I was you, bought a RS4 off them 6 months pleased with the car, but they do not call you back, had the car for over a week trying to sort problems out and I found they could not be trusted. I think they are sadly lacking in Customer service and Technical know how. First Audi I have bought for 10 years always had BMW's and it turned out to the worst experience I have ever had with any car dealership. Pleased with the Car but had the niggles sorted out locally in the Midlands who have restored my faith in Audi.

interesting as Slough Audi, like Reading Audi and Nottingham Audi are all part of Sytner Group who own a number of BMW dealerships.
I wonder if their BMW dealerships are equally lacking in customer service?
