Is any way to measure this switch? (fully pressed = short circuit or smt)

In every position ive got open circuit.
Any idea?

if you are saying you have a short when the plunger is extended or depressed, you have a bad switch...it should be open when extended, closed when depressed...

it is normally depressed by the clutch pedal, and as soon as you move the pedel it extends (opens) and disengages the cruise control...

I've written it bad way.

I've got in all position open circuit. I think function of this switch is primitive. All position except minimum range is open circuit. But with my switch I can't find position with short circuit therefore I think the switch is bad. It deosnt cost a lot of money just I hope it will be on stock.

Anyway, thank you for your help Arthur. I will let you know after chaning switch.

I changed switch (normaly is short circuit; old broken cuz of little small plastic piece :( ). I have status 1000, after press down i've got 1100. This seems to be ok (at least i think). But still don't have icon on clocks. Next "tests" I will do tomorrow.

Any idea is welcome :)
