I find the snow foam really helps to drag off a lot of the dirt which would otherwise be caught in the wash mitt. I also use the two bucket/two mitt method but with using SF I know I'm minimising any chance of swirl marks.

2nd for snow foam, but having used 6 the best I have found was Bilt Hamber. It does work after pressure washing the car with water, then snow foam and then rinse off after a few minutes (enough time to fill your buckets with shampoo).

I will say though that any snow foam does reduce the life of your wax unless you top it up as part of your drying process with something like Duragloss Aquawax or the Autoglym equivalent during these months.

Just don't wash it - thats what my wife does (to the car!!!) when I'm of working for three months.

Just get a good snow foam product, make sure it is at the right consistency. Iv had no problems with mine and has worked wonders

I've just bought a Snow Foam attachment for my Karcher. Will use the Cherry stuff it comes with then get something a bit better. Will be good for practising with though...

Looks awesome! There is a black one going around town near me now which must have a Milltek or similar, it sounds insane!
Has definitly changed my view of the V8, Ive never been a fan before....

As for the snow foam, dont waste your money, its way too over rated and pretty much just a gimic to look good more than actually do anything worthwhile

Absolut rubbish ! My opinion anyway !

Ive been detailing for a while now, My current car is wearing Zaino AIO, 3 coats of Zaino Z2 pro and a top up with Z8 spray seal. I can snow foam once a week, power wash off, dry, top up with Z8, no need to go near a wash mit !

Snow foam isnt a miricle cleaner but it does lift off some of the grime that causes swirls

Correct ! It clings to the car better, i leve mine around 3-5 mins, pressure rince, etc

You can't just snow foam and rinse as the car will be cleaner but not clean also it is a vbc so it needs to be rinsed completely off and it will remove wax. Its like most cleaners it has its place but is no miracle cleaner.

For just a quick winter clean a Snow Foam and a thorough rinse with some filtered water normally does the trick.
I know its not clean, and would never go near the car with a cloth to QD it etc, but as a quick spritz up it does the job and at least gets rid of some of the salt etc.
