Perhaps you should re read my post before spouting, regarding somethings got to give I was referring to the quality of warranty and service you have had from auto prestige, they do sell alot if not the most used rs4s and cheaper than other dealers, please check pistonheads or similar before shooting off again, they are a low margin quick in/out operation that sell on price, bottom line is if you want audi approved prep/service/warranty then buy from them @a few £k more, cake and eat it spring to mind, which is much more pleasant than some of you kind comments

so what you are saying is that i should have gone to a audi dealer and paid thousands more than go to a audi rs4 specialist dealer???????. Listen to yourself. At least you must enjoy your own voice.

I have re read your post and you are still tal.king out of your as you put it cake hole.

For what it's worth, I think the post is well reasoned and courteous...

And you wonder why they are ignoring your calls and emails......really? You like any of use can choose were to buy from and what level of assurance you want,I didn't buy mine from main dealer this time but accept it's a little riskier and aren't complaining at non franchised warranty standards, the warranty was there to read and assess at purchase,if there backing out of something that is clearly stated as covered then I would also be miffed but if read very few cover much at all,and yes if you had bought from a main dealer I think you would of had it sorted at no cost,if within a month of purchase you could of even returned the car,so yes if you want top peace of mind and the best warranty cover then a main dealer purchase would been probably better,I've kept my posts civil and tried to explain my view politely without personal insults, the same in return would be nice!

oh my god. I am not complaining about the warranty you moron. How do you know why they are not answering calls. Supoosition on your part and is the first lie of your last post civil?????

I cant be bothered playing tit for tat with you anymore. You buy a car you expect the dealer no matter who it is to sort it out. Its not exactly a minor thing.

And another quite reasonable thread deteriates rapidly....... Unecessarily too I'd say. IMHO obviously.

Back on topic, no photos I'm afraid, but the relevent bits are front right if lying under car with your feet sticking out, if that makes sense.....
It's the connectors that suffer rather than the tubing I'd say.

The first line of my last post was a general observation i made after having recieved personal insults, which you just keep on adding more and more weight to.There was no supposition re not taking calls YOU wrote that in your first post!!!!!!! You buy from a dealer who operates out of a warehouse selling well priced top end motors at almost supermarket type prices and expect the same level of comeback as a full price main dealer purchase was purely the point i was trying to get across without personal insults,if you conduct yourself like this with the dealer and warranty company im not at all suprised they ignore you

Back on topic just had my car in for oil cooler recall and all is well, no corrosion. Asked about other RS's they have had in and it is about 70/30 those OK against those that need greasing / cleaned up.

Is this oil cooler pipe issue a recall?

If so can you take the car back to Audi FOC to be checked?

and if it is faulty will it still get fixed out of warranty for free?

Recalls are only for safety issues and are coordinated via VOSa.

This is a Service Campaign not a recall.
