It's a great piece of kit but quite pricy so I'd keep a look out for a 2nd hand one, I was lucky!

I worked that out last night but thought I shouldn't post it up in case there was a UK wide incident of men having heart attacks whilst sat at their PC's!

I think so, not really sure as the noise can be deceptive of speed!

I'm getting it remapped so that should make a difference...oh and I promise I'll get some photos up this weekend!

I'm up for one !
Could be interested in a group buy if the price comes down enough, I'm mainly tempted by the comments regarding the noise!

The noise is just awesome, I had the Valved non-Res Milltek and GruppeM along (with the APS remap), and the noise was just phenomenal, driving around town was not a problem, but as soon as you press the loud pedal, heads would turn. so just on the noise alone, its great, I did a driver training day at Bruntingthorpe and got a few comments there as t what was "under the hood" so to speak lol....only down side was parking u at 3am in a cul-de-sac, Neighbours loved me..even more so on a freezing winters day at 5am!

Interesting, I'm running the oem exhaust (with the flap mod) which suits me fine (for now anyway!) so I'm not that loud overall, just like the idea of some induction noise from the front end (memories of my Cortina twin cam back in the seventies running side draught Webbers with open ram pipes!).

Drool Side Draughts...bet that sounded great. Well I have had a change in direction with my car, I am now running the OEM exhaust, but will be running Miltek down pipes and 200cell cats, I also have a BMC. Im happy, however I do miss the GruppeM. I also believe that GruppeM made a modification to there Original model, I was informed they put a lip inside the body to slow down the air wake, as some cars emission lights was coming on at high speed! I did not experience this with mine at all, however I did have it remapped the day I had it put on. so this is something to take into account.

That's alot of money to pay to lose HP. I agree it looks fantastic and have heard the noise which is also spot on but you WILL lose power not gain it which is such a shame.......:(
