Just because its getting to that time of year and we're heading off to the Alps in 2 weeks...

I had my Klak & Go's F40's set up for the RS4 with 275/30/19's but we've decided to take the A3 instead. That Euro exchange rate is a b**ch.

So I looked up the book for the adjustments needed to the snowchains to find that the 225/40/18's needed the F30 chain.

I was buggered if I was going to buy another set of chains so I've spent the morning with a calculator and torx set adjusting my F40's to fit.

For those of you with similar chains the 275/30's needed the F40 chain with the "1,2,3" adjustment and the cam set to "C". In reality I found that "B" was a better, tighter fit.

I have found that the F40 chain with a single "1" adjustment and the cam wound all the way down to "A" works a treat.

(Obviously the above is not a "recommended" procedure (Wessenfeld would obviously be losing out were that to be the case) so standard disclaimer applies....)
