Mine rattled & then technically fell out, however as the rattle was getting on my nerves, i helped it to fall out & this then led to the chipping of the black paint. Bottom line i bought another badge (cost £20) & when it arrived it turned out to be a slightly different shape & the pins were not correctly placed for the holes. I could not be arsed to re-order etc. so cut the tabs off & glued this badge in place. All well now.

hhhhm I must be lucky too, mine is early 2006 and still no rattly badge. Annoying loose screw on the backside of the alloy bit though, on the left hand side ..... I think I need to find a set of watch-screwdrivers (the little ones) to tighten it back up again

Touching laminated wood as I write this I have had no issues with rattling badges or screws on my mid 2006 RS. Armrest creaks a bit though.
