I have searched the web and the best deal this year for me was with M & S ( which funny enough is underwritten by N U) £450.00 FC protected.

I've gone with direct line for £1000 including my girlfriend.
I tried 5 firms and that was the best I could get, I probably could have trawled a bit more but I can't be arsed and dealing with them was easy and gave me confidence in them.

I got my quote this afternoon and told them I'd get back to them- 2 hours later it was a ton and a half less with exactly the same details, bizarre!!

I'm 29, have 3 points and keep the car parked on private driveway and I pay £748 with Zurich. I got the 7days free cover from Audi who very kindly sent me a quote of £6938 which I declined. So i would bother phoning them!!
