Is This A great Car or What
It's down to the choice of leather - the Black Valcona only comes without the piping, and the Black Nappa only comes with it...
The Valcona is the same leather as the buckets, and the Nappa is the same finish as previous S4s - have to say I can't tell the difference between the two, but I've only ever seen them one at a time (rather than side by side)

2007 Daytona RS4 Avant
I've just had a look on the Audi Configurator and I'd say it does a very good job of showing the piping
If you haven't already, give it a go - get to interior, expand the seat picture then toggle between Valcona & Nappa
Make sure you select the first Valcona but the second Nappa, otherwise you get silver headlining in one pic, but black in the other...

Dom / Jason,
Thanks for the replies, at the time I just ordered black leather and my dealer chose the nappa not realising it came with the piping. Dom's comments have put my mind at ease a bit, just got to wait till 21st (hopefully) to see for myself. I've got daytona grey, with aluminium interior, so hopefully the piping will fit in nicely and not be to in your face.
Thanks for the advice
Cheers
