Thank you everyone for the supporting comments. Real people. I feel a lot better and looking forward to the next contract.
Going to give the car a good clean and polish whilst I'm off work. I'm going to crack open a beer, stay in and watch the tele tonight.

Similar carry on the other day, took my spotless RS4 out the garage to give it a burst. Popped in to the BP forecourt parking bays where I took my pick as all were empty and went to the cash machine.
By the time I'd turned my back and looked around again a bloody woman in an XC90 had parked right next to my passenger door, she was struggling to get out her door as she got out.
WHY????

Damn mate, really sorry to hear this, as said these days you seem to have no rights.
I have 2 guys working for me I know approaching my customers and doing work for them at
weekends and even have a Facebook page advertising themselves in direct competition with me
after 15 years employment from me.
I lost my temper sacked one  as the other was on holiday, then next day a call from CAB
I did not go through correct procedure and have no proof.
Now back working for me while I give them more money while they are setting up in competition lol.

Annnnnyway only winding me up, you're a great guy and will soon have another contract sorted
I'm sure

Bloody hell - their reaction seems a bit OTT!

Glad the car's sorted though.

Sounds like you're taking the sacking in your stride though - onwards and upwards!
