That's really bad luck buddy. Hope your insurance sort you out fairly and you can buy it back.

That is some impact! Was he pissed? I'm sure (I hope) the police arrived and made him do a breath test.

Mate that's awful

Did the police attend and was the guy breathalysed by any chance? The falling asleep story sounds odd.

I hope you're able to salvage the situation with minimum fuss.

By the way, I'm glad you changed the title of the thread. Of course, you meant nothing by it, but speaking from experience, if you ever have to go through that than any other of life's trials are pretty inconsequential in comparison. It definitely puts things on perspective. Anyway.

No police due to no one being hurt. He hung around for an hour constantly apologising but there was no hit of alcohol or drugs or I would have hurt him for sure.

I've been working all weekend and had no time to think about what next. Was convinced a RS4 would be bought to replace it but my mate said get and R32 and turbo it which would be easy to do as he owns VW enterprise.

My wish would be a R32 lump in the RS with turbo although I loved the V8 and I'm still more inclined to stick with the RS as is for now.

Insurance offered me £19.200 before they realised it was a trim theft CAT D so lowered it to £15,300 and will buy back the old girl for parts. Still saying up the idea of a Mk5 R32 with turbo conversion giving 500bhp or another RS4 :bash:
