I think an enthusiast who's an Audi forum member would prefer seeing one of the top specialists stamps, but the general Joe blogs who's not on a forum would rather FASH cause they wouldn't know who bad Audi's servicing network is.
I hear what your saying ref the free repairs Jay, but you obviously don't have confidence in audi for most of the work either. Do you trust that Audi pick up all the issues during a service like a specialist would? I know for sure that Audi by me wouldn't have a clue.
I read it on here all the time chunky about bad audi dealers and yeah your right i wouldnt take it to get repaired but im on about a service and the stamp....thats the differene

I hear ya, but the most important part of a service is having faults picked up, are you confident that Audi do that? Or do you take your car to a specialist after to get it checked over?
My point is, I know it looks good if to have FASH, but if Audi don't pick up on issues cause they don't have knowledge of the model, then what's the point? Might have FASH but be a lemon.

Most moan about the Dealerships picking up too much come service/inspection time, thus the perceived persona of 'stealers' wanting to rip them off for work that is not necessary.

Like all things in life. There are both good and bad points to each side of the fence, I've spoken to individuals who've also had negative experiences with MRC. No-ones perfect.

MRC imo aren't perfect ref customer service, but I've had no issues with their workmanship.
I've not had a dealer try and rip me of for extra work, my experience is they miss issues cause they know nothing about the model. Must just be the 3 dealers I've used locally that are useless.
I call them ''stealers'' due to the rediculous prices the charge for parts and labour.

Don't get me started on MRC communication! I've put that to one side considering they're a very busy outfit.

Just plucked from a few threads down, not saying that a dealer would know what’s going on but even the proclaimed 'gods' of all things Audi can't pick up everything when servicing a vehicle, so why should dealers be any different?

I like MRC, but if you've had issues they should really be put out there. Places can only get better if they learn from their mistakes!
IMO, forums are the place to go to really know who and who not to use, if there are issues then people need to know. If you can recommend a place then do it, if you have issues with somewhere the is just as important.
Sam had issues with Trupps (if I remember correctly), but most haven't. Thing is, Sam's issue may have helped Trupps change his way of working, it may not have. Humans make mistakes, correcting them is what matters.
I'm horribly drunk at this moment so this may not make sense.

I can't really drink much more, Vegas has pulled me into it's dark side. I've been told I'm better when I'm drunk, I'm much more relaxed.
