Oil level should be filled to half way between the min and maximum markers. If you filled to the maximum marker and also allowing for the filter housing to be filled, this may explain the extra amount.KieranRS4 wrote:Completed full service today let the sump drain for as long as I could around 4 hours to get as much out as I could changed the oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter and Spark plugs, to my suprise there was a K&N air filter fitted so going to get a cleaning kit clean it up and re-use that see if I notice a difference
The car took best part of 10L of oil even though auto data said 9.6l the dipstick does not lie after letting it settle for 30mins haha!
