Good work Kieran, that's a good looking car. Got a soft spot for Avus, looks great in the flesh. 21 y.o. too that's impressive.

Cheers Daytona I was looking at Daytona grey at first but when I saw the avus I was sold :)

Wotsir, she's definitely worth it from what I have experienced so far and yeah it's a daily driver.

When I picked the RS4 up the exhaust valves were sticking and weren't working as they should but after a few days of working them manually and oiling them up they flap open and closed as they should :kissmyrings:

What are maintenance items on the RS4 apart from the basics?

Nice motor bud. At 21 I was in a Pug 1.9GTI fresh out of a DD ban...
Keep some oil in your boot for top ups. Drive it hard regularly to help prevent carbon build up. Enjoy it

Going to get it done this Saturday and then when I have some more time I'm going to change the diff oil, gearbox oil and brake fluid.

Completed full service today let the sump drain for as long as I could around 4 hours to get as much out as I could changed the oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter and Spark plugs, to my suprise there was a K&N air filter fitted so going to get a cleaning kit clean it up and re-use that see if I notice a difference :)

The car took best part of 10L of oil even though auto data said 9.6l the dipstick does not lie after letting it settle for 30mins haha!

Oil level should be filled to half way between the min and maximum markers. If you filled to the maximum marker and also allowing for the filter housing to be filled, this may explain the extra amount.
