Love the look (and sound) of the JC Weldfab system. If I had the money then this is where I would be spending it I think

On a par price wise with Miltek, perhaps a little cheaper, but a better system for your money IMO :beerchug:

It certainly looks like a beautifully made system with the x-pipe being as far forward as possible (recommended I believe). Just need to convince the wife that I 'need' it now :-)

When I bought my car it had an exhaust from a company up north and was shockingly bad, no cats and poorly placed lambda sensors which was throwing codes. And it was loud constantly !!! Subsequently it failed the MOT as there were no cats so I convinced the wife that the JC was the best system to get as it was cheaper than buying a genuine system from Audi and also worked out cheaper than a Miltek, mine runs from the manifold back with sports cats.

You could always baffle the wife with A. Man Maths B. It needs to be done as a requirement C. You'll take the wife out for a shopping day / Spa / Meal :beerchug:

I had a Terraclean at a local garage before visiting MRC
I had a Stage 2 ish MRC conversion ie:

• A full carbon clean
• Manifold polished & ported, flaps left in
• No cold air feed
• A Doug "special" remap to take care of no cats

Before 390PS
After 447.9ps

I have a full Milltek cat bypass and non res valved exhaust. Even my wife and little girl say it's quieter than when I had the cats on.

I absolutely love it !

Haha. I have tried baffling her with technical reasons why I NEED it but that as of yet has made no difference. And to really put an end to all hope (well atleast for the immediate future) I am now about to order 4 new tyres which she was rather less than pleased about when I told her how much they were :-0. Oh well. I can carry in dreaming I guess :-)
