My replica set was purchased through the original eBay link but yes, they were the Fathead ones. The RS4 motif is near identical on mine, yet these newer ones are far more recessed whereas the originals are not.

To be fair the ones posted in this current thread look neater on the piping but the logo less so.
Sam did the ones you got have the indent around the logo like Andy's? Looking at the link KD initially posted in that thread from the seller fathead, the mats he has show the indent too. Your pictures don't seem to though. Where yours from Fathead too?

Andy anymore pictures? I like them. :biggrin3:
I like taking pictures but my mrs is calling me to bed so I must go ;)
I'll post some in the morning when she lets me go lol

I went genuine A4 rubber mats they certainly fit well and in this snow they do the job better than material mats. Just need to find a way of getting rid of the large a4 badge mind you it is its roots after all

They definately look different to the Fathead ones Sam (and I) have. There is no indentation around the logo like these ones have.

Andy they look really good mate, thanks for posting more pictures. The colour seems to match up well with the carpet. Does it match as closely in reality or is it a slightly different shade?

Mike, which do you think look better from what you've seen? Looking at Fathead's current eBay listing, the pictures seem to show an indent too.

I prefer the old Fathead ones, like the ones Sam has in his link. I'll see if I have any photos of mine. I have mixed a couple of sets at the minute, using Fatheads ones at the front with another make ones at the rear.

These are some of my previous ones:

I'm using the rear set from the ones in the middle photo with the fronts from Fathead (not in my pictures) which are a pretty good match.

Wow Mike, definately obsessive. :biggrin3: still, they don't last forever do they, so need changing frequently if you want it to be looking it's best all the time.

Yep they definately look the same to me. I wonder if they've had the stitching design modified based on feedback such as Sam's earlier, and have the indent now as a result of making the stitching better. Just a thought. Anyway I like them, so will have a set of you for summer mats please mate. Cheers for posting.

Obsessive? Yes, I've had another 3 sets of mats since I took those photos. They were really hard to get hold of so I bought a set whenever possible and yes they get worn and dirty over time.
