They're insisting they haven't but have definitely done something wrong to drastically affect the performance. Would be interesting to compare it to another just to see how different or not it is before I commit to taking it back to MRC.

I've used them for four years. Weird, this is not my experience at all. I'm very happy with Tyneside. Oil: no problem. Plugs: I was too lazy to source my own, but I'm confident they would've done that too. Probably with a sensible disclaimer saying they weren't responsible for faulty parts or whatever.geordie jay wrote:its Tyneside audi dave at silverlink retail parkPetrolDave wrote:Time to name and shame the dealer...geordie jay wrote:can I just say aswell that they wouldn't let me bring my own oil to use for service or plugs???

Re: what a laugh!! audi service costs...
+1 she is pretty stunning. They keep all the other employees well out of sight lest they spoil of the view. I love the way her desk / plinth is right out beside all the shiny new motors and everyone else huddles in the shadows.geordie jay wrote:erm not really but the receptionist was really really hot!!! what a figure.....shhhhhhh--wingggg!!!!!

I had mine done at a respected local indie yesterday. Engine oil, gearbox and diff oils all changed, all filters replaced and two new OEM wiper blades supplied and installed, plus an inspection of brakes etc etc. I supplied my own oils making a total cost of about £420.
On the downside, they're all blokes

Don't know officially, I was advised at the previous service (60,000 miles) that the diff oil would need changing next time around. I decided to have the gearbox done too as it can use the same stuff (I used Gulf Competition).geordie jay wrote:Whats the situation on diff and gearbox oil..when should these get changed?
