not having a pissing contest but i think mines louder (in a bad way) like you i dont want to piss the neighbours off in the village, i think im going to remove my cats and fit 2 silencers

do you have silencers on the mid section?

Mine was worst at 2800rpm before (cat back non-res non-valve). It's got honestly better. That drone has reduced a lot.

I have no silencers at all - decat downpipes, into the same non-res non-valve as before.

I'd like it a bit louder I think - but only on demand which I don't think is possible now. So I think I'll accept this. Maybe. arghhh!

I'm pretty sure it won't be that hard for a decent fabricator to stick a valve on one of the tailpipes just like the oem has.

Ha, the louder the better please...

IMO the stock noise is a let down when you compare it to other stock V8s etc

You are quite right! the one thing I did that made the car what it should have been was to stick a cat back Milltek non res on. Never stop smiling when I drive it now. Not sure if I would want much louder so I am paranoid about the 200 sports cats I have had fitted being OTT. I may end up getting some resonators.
