That's good, as I've just ordered one from them.neilparf wrote:+1 on specialised covers - used the storm version and it is, restrictions as Ad's mentions aside, very good...adsgreen wrote:Also a parambulator garage is good although expensive.
I used an outdoor cover from specialised car covers and it fit perfectly with virtually no rubbing. The inside is a soft velvet type material so is kind to paintwork.
That being said there are restrictions... If the car is dirty going into the cover then the dirt will run on the paintwork. Really not great either if the car is soaking wet.
Might be worth goin for a couple layers of decent polish then at least it should rinse off

Misano Red B7 RS4 Avant. 20" Rotors. KW adjustable spring kit. 8 & 10mm H&R spacers. MRC Stage 2 remap. Pre-cat delete & x-pipe.
Re: Does anyone use a car cover?
A lad that works for me used to work at Specialised Covers, he did all their filming and design work for them - i've been offered one at a really good discount, but not gone for it as I only need one whilst my car is in storage during our house build, so purchased one from another member.
Seriously tempted though, they've got some seriously nice stuff.

Two questions.
First, where did you get this from? I like the tight hugging style.
Secondly, how did you get out of the car when you parked before fitting the cover?

Believe only the man who has nothing to gain from what he says.

Well done - my Storm cover works hard and honestly, I'm really pleased with itAudi Pardner wrote:That's good, as I've just ordered one from them.neilparf wrote:+1 on specialised covers - used the storm version and it is, restrictions as Ad's mentions aside, very good...adsgreen wrote:Also a parambulator garage is good although expensive.

Might be worth goin for a couple layers of decent polish then at least it should rinse offI was going to go for an indoor cover, but my garage suffers from quite bad, intermittent condensation during the winter so I've gone for the storm cover. Called in at their works and got a tour of the workshop and was showed the different colours and materials on offer. Good folk to deal with and a v. reasonable price (£289 inc VAT and delivery).
