Maybe as the work performed was straightforward (i.e. service, mot, aircon, brake fluid), but can't fault southend audi.
I supplied my own oil to keep costs down, but only had 8 litres - didn't realise I needed 9.6! Only advisory was regarding the two front shocks - so c.£500 to spend in next few months...unless I should go with someone else?
Overall, would recommend them if you live close by: they even didn't wash the car as I told them to leave the paintwork alone as I had it recently detailed.

Chelmsford is my local. Service is OK, nothing more. Sales is woeful, they couldn't sell food to a starving man.

Exactly, I guess we all have different experiences. I say, go local first, then go further out as necessary.

Having remembered I had purchased my car with a 12 month warranty I thought I'd see if I could get my 2 front shocks done via a claim. After bit of pfaffing two new shocks were fitted on front at Southend Audi and it came to nearly £1,000 (!) - glad I did it under warranty.
Haven't had much of a chance to see how the car feels, but at the moment my bank balance is breathing a sigh of relief. :beerchug:

That price sounds like two new shocks plus a new valve block.

Just got back from having an annual oil/filter done by them (supplied my own oil) and the total bill was £120, can't really complain considering the service there was very good.
Their reception manager (Tim) is sound and let me come into the service area. Most of the technicians that work there are true petrol heads apparently.

Some nice eye candy working there too! :)

All in all a good experience.
