spotty yoof "nice motah mate"
Re: spotty yoof "nice motah mate"
I see 911s all the time. Rarely see any RS4s and those wide arches get people's attention.
When my son first started at his new school I picked him up afterwards. The next day he came home saying some kid came up to him and said 'your dad's car is sick'.

Lol - had all those comments and more.
Various times see the cars in front dropping their windows for when i go past, plus many giving thumbs up out the window.
Funniest was when i was in the VW dealer test driving the Golf R, came back to my car to see a man and his daughter looking over the RS, he was going in to discuss a new VW but changed his mind and said sod it im going to by an RS4 instead
I think the big thing with the RS4 is that it commands respect and not jealousy, not once have a been called a <beep> or anything similar.

We have a cab (heard all the jokes) lady from up the road came down one day,"hope you don't mind me asking she says
But it's my daughters prom soon any chance you would take my daughter and friend in your lovely car"
I duly obliged and to say the daughter was a real petrol head is an understatement mother said
bedroom is full of posters and models of cars, and watches top gear over and over.

Is it just me or is everybody else wondering if this story had a 'happy ending'?sumdy wrote:We have a cab (heard all the jokes) lady from up the road came down one day,"hope you don't mind me asking she says

Yeah, there's really something in that. Personally, I think it's because it's understated - unless you've wrapped it and retrimmed the inside with Shrek skin.spikeyboy101 wrote:I think the big thing with the RS4 is that it commands respect and not jealousy...

On a couple of occasions I've had blokes drive by the side of me and ask me to drop my window, to ask if I'm selling my car, ha ha, I say no sorry, then they reply with give it a boot.

I was at a funeral this week when one of the other mourners turned up in an Aston Martin Rapide. I have to say that my car still looked absolutely fantastic parked next to that - all squat and purposeful. It's such a well proportioned car the B7.

LOL , i was in dundee sitting at the lights next to this bin lorry when i heard the engine revving up and down, I looked across and the guys were grinning and giving the thums up so I just had to do it , S on and a quick squirt away from the lights , Mo rolled her eyes and said , your such a child
, then we had a friends staying over who has the cutest kids ever and little Sophie who is 8 just had to go in my car (there was 6 of us so we needed two cars to go to the park which "unfortunately" was 7 miles away
she absolutely loved it in the back, she loved the noise and the power , when we were leaving she grabbed my hand and said i,m going in Roy"s car , its way better than your's mum

On a similar note (pun intended), I always open the window and boot the throttle when going through a tunnel in mine. Does anyone else, or am I a lone saddo?
