about 1k for all 4 corners fitted so not cheapest option I guess but pleased with them so far
had Dunlop SP Maxx's before...
just noticed this was about tyres online - doh...

PSS do generate noticeably more road noise than PS2s did.SuprSi wrote:PS3 are a hard wearing compounds, PS2 is a bit softer & sticker, PSS are stickiest.
Ditto i went the same route....WillRS wrote:I went for Pilot Super Sports as if they are good enough for the 458 then they must be good enough for the RS4 right ?!

My experience is that the F1s are the quietest with PS2 next and the PSS the noisiest of the three you mention.rob-s wrote:So I got myself a set of new RS4 20x9" rims and am about to order tires now. I used to have Pilot Sport 2 tires so my first choice is Pilot Super Sports.
Now when I was reading this I started to have some doubts because i was surprised to read that PSS is more noisy than PS2. How about Good Year f1 asymmetric 2..
are they more or less noisy than Michelin tires? I believe grip of all these are sufficient.
Ben, I've got Continentals on mine, I've recently been told they are mint tyres but quite soft hence not as hard wearing and don't last as long, do you agree with this?Youngben wrote:Also on PS3's they are the best all around tire i have had on a car!! Grip is something else. They are on eBay at a quick glance for £200 a corner. Cant go wrong with that really.
Edited to say they are £175 through Camskilleven better.
