Agree with the above, I ran a MKIV Golf for 5 years from new, 125k miles later and it was still tight as a drum with no rattles or squeaks. the only problem I had was the headlights smashing as they were glass not plastic, lost 3 over it's time. 50+ mpg too. Great car.
