The golden days of WRC have sadly long gone though, so it's not so widely followed anymore

I remember Group B - now that was ALWAYS spectacular (anyone else remember the tale of how Peugeot changed the direction of rotation of the engine in the 205T16 so that if flew better without nosediving?).

Was it not a myth that it was changed?

Wasn't the Stratos the only other rear engine car of that era with the same layout? Don't think that was as central to th car as the Pug though.

I seem to remember the 'Dagenham Special Edition' 6R4 was also fairly centrally located....
