Rick beat you to it Tim, but if I do decide to sell it and Rick doesn't want it you'll be 2nd on the list.

I got mine on Ebay Tim, from a dealer who used to always advertise them; he doesn't now! Its still probably your best bet as they do turn up from time to time. Good luck!

I think I was the first one to put the DTM splitter on the RS4 and it does look better fitted in the flesh. Argon is literally across the river from me and I did give a little input on their DTM style splitter. I got them to reduce the amount it sticks out on the side as their original mock up was a bit too much in my opinion. If I were to fit one again, I probably go for the Argon DTM style one because of the ease of fitting, but I'm still happy with mine.
MikeFish wrote:I'm undecided on the Argon one too. I agree with Alex too in that the quility and finish of the Argon ones look excellent and ease of fitment can;t be beat. As the A4 DTM wasn't made for the RS4 it is not a straight fit but I do recall reading about a fitting kit. Needless to say mine is still sitting in the garage. I do think I prefer it to the argon one... if only it was easier to fit.
The DTM fitting kit only consist of a few screws and clip nuts. As Iain have said, all you have to do is add a few different thickness rubber washers, strong double sided tapes and be careful with the drilling.

Each to there own...I did take mine off,but defo prefer it on now..like any visual mod some will like some won't...I personally I don't understand the audi DTM/seat one not fitting all the way round..all the talk of keeping the looks Oem is right IMO,you don't want the car losing its distinctive looks..but surely a front splitter that does not fit the same in its entirety IMO does not look Oem..
Ian you say you prefer the audi/DTM one as it's Oem and keeps the car original so to speak..but your wheels I think its safe to say don't look very Oem..they look lovely as your whole motor does, but changing the wheels is probably the most distinctive anti Oem mod ..please don't take it that I am having a pop fella cause I am not, just playing devils advocate..
All I am trying to point out is a visual change to the cars are going to be very subjective..
Mine(with race splitter) will be at the rr day at amd on the 25th of December all negative/positive comments welcome on the day..
R8 gen1 v10 plus white. Larini clubsport valved zorst.carbon side flicks, and fixed carbon spoiler.

Haha, I knew someone would pick up on that, and you're quite right! Absolutely no offence taken mate, it is all totally subjective. :) I actually put my original titanium wheels back on the car last week for the first time in 4 years (the car came with the BBS's already fitted) as I had a puncture on the BBSs and have to say I really didnt like the look at all, however others may think different!

I agree fella, the black bbs's look much better than Oem on your car.but I have seen others(bbs and others)that don't look so good IMO..

Yep, the BBS for me. My wife has a black set on her white A3 and thye look great but I wanted a more concave look so went for the rotors. Plus I think all cars look better with black wheels except on black cars the wheels need t obe a little lighter than black.
