HeyJaheenormous wrote:How did you get on with these? I'm in the market for some new discs and would look at non OEM for something different but OEM fitment..
Looking at the StopTech ones too but i'm undecided.. The number of drilled holes on that disc stinks of fashion over function to me lol and i'm not sure i even like the look.. Would be good to see the slotted ones..
How have they held up in terms of longevity? Performance? You have any pics of them installed on the car?
I love the look of Stasis' solution but that seems like it's a full rotor and caliper replacement which i'm not in the market for at the moment.
They have hold up very well. No cracks, no wobble and no rust. I've put about 11000 kms on them and one trackday. Im not a hardcore track-junky, but I do try to make on one every year for once or twice. Performance wise I think they are upgrade over OEM. Being lighter than OEM you can feel it in the steeing, feels like puting lighter wheels on the car. Also 10-15 hard laps on track doesn't make them fade. My setup is: Stoptech rotors, pads, braided lines and ATE Blue.
You can see some pictures on the pages 55 and 57. http://www.audi.ee/upload/File/am-2014-1-est-web.pdf
Hope that helps you!

Thanks for this information, good to read about non OEM discs. What was your decision behind drilled rather than grooved?Marten wrote:HeyJaheenormous wrote:How did you get on with these? I'm in the market for some new discs and would look at non OEM for something different but OEM fitment..

I guess mainly aesthetic. TBH I didn't even think about going with grooved. Also StopTech drilled look much "beefier" than OEM.pmj wrote:If you speak to Mark mention my name....Jaheenormous wrote:Thanks a lot man, much appreciated..!pmj wrote:For your info :
