Yep, I'm using the standard Audi iPod/iPhone CAN AMI 4F0 051 510 K cable (the one with the dark blue grommet).

That's one of the great falsehoods that many vendors spread, it's not 3G - it's not MMI, it's pre-MMI so if anything it's 0G!
