I'm sure the quality is great, and the pricing looks excellent. On that basis, give the poor chap a fortnight to clear his order backlog without the glum face!

Stupidly bought the one with the spring, when i have no spring.

If anyone wants to sell their spring and get the non springed one(which actually looks better suited to the job) i'll buy it £10 inc pp

Anyone fitted one of these replacements yet ?

How does the "printed" plastic feel/hold-up ?
Cheers

Feels nice once it's fitted, has a felt type feel to it. Before fitting it looks and feels pretty flimsy but it's probably for the best since i'm assuming the original ones were too brittle and had no give.

Thanks Andyy.

I may give one a go then. As you say, a bit of "flex" can only help i 'spose.

It weird stuff only, thing i can compare it to is heavily compressed Styrofoam, it's really tough in some places but flexible in others

Interesting. I'd figured it would feel fairly light as it'd been squirted from a printer. I guess there's a lot of air within product.
Hence my original comment about it's strength and durability.
Do you think there's too much flex and thus could pop-out of it's sockets ?

Yeah, it's super light and no, i meant more flimsy as in cheap and light etc, it has a little flex at the small arms but the rest is strong and rigid but feels as if needed it wouldn't snap it would absorb and flex. I really can't see it popping out unless like me you're having to fashion your own spring

Just got one in Royal Blue on order. Hopefully not too dis-similar from the Sprint Blue of my avant. Will post a picture once it is an, so long as it is not too awful a colour choice!

Apologies for the topic resurrection but this is pretty amazing. My first 3D pirated object is winging its way to me now. Thanks Sar!

I've just fitted one - it's an amazing thing to behold and works like a treat.

I've got one too, saves having to collect the phone charger lead from the rear foot well after the other half has been driving the car
