What did you do with the nearside aux rad? You put a new one in or bypassed it?
I put the good rad from the offside on to the nearside as the offside one is now redundant  will be going ally jobbie before to long

I thought about doing that when I had my cold air feed done but I didn't think it would fit in (not size wise but fittings) as I was only leaking on nearside. I guess it would have only been a matter of time before it started leaking again so I'm probably better off with the new one I had fitted.

Nice work Ben -nice one with taking all the pictures. I always mean to, but then forget and can't face going back several steps to get a photo (especially when it seems to be howling with wind and rain whenever I decide to do some work on car).

Re. the CAF I'm wondering about a more sculpted intake scoop/trumpet instead of the round one, like something which would fill the entire duct where the aux rad was and reduce into the flexible tubing. Would have a greater ram effect? Front it with wire gauze to prevent leaves/small animals getting sucked up and I reckon it would be a winner.

Yeah it would be better with a ram pipe fitted within the duct forcing air into the pipe i see what you mean! i havent had my little controller in lately to see what the temps are doing but wont be much of a comparison to last time as its colder out!

Finnished off wet sanding my carbon today and got a mate to polish it back to a shine for me and its looking spot on!

Image

so i fitted it and it looked even better

car needs a clean! i have made a little box to protect my grill surround today well in transport going to get carbon wrapped also along with the oil cooler splitter

Well its been a long time coming but got a update...

Finally got my carbon bits back much to the annoyance that Argon have started making them now!

Image
Image

so got them fitted today :) love the finish but the bumper/bonnet gap ruins it! something i need to get sorted as i cant seem to get it any better

Image

will get some better photos once the car is clean as its much needed but been awaiting a new snow foam lance.

Was under the car the other day doing some pre checks for MOT and my trip around Europe and decided to take a couple of shots of the Scorpion Non Res system..

Image
Image

Well the car was up in the air i dropped out the rear springs as i wasn't happy with how high the car still sat on the back and wanted it closer to how the front now sits! after some fettling this was done giving me this...

Just over 2 weeks until i leave for my Rico Rally trip and to see a place i have wanted to for some years now

Replaced my ballast to the new one just need to re align the headlights to clear codes and also replaced a track rod end due to the boot being split so now she is all ready for her MOT and then im good to go :blackrs4:

Heres a pic i took a couple of months back of how shes looking now

Looking good Ben! How did you drop the back further - you still using the same KW adjustable springs? I thought you mentioned before the height was on their max settings. What fettling did you have to do? That looks a bit more than my SS+ ;-)

P.S. Have a good trip that road looks awesome!!!

hey mate! cheers! yeah same KW kit! i took out the adjuster ring but left in the locator plate so it still stays in place without load! this allowed another 10mm and left it sitting how it is now much happier of how it sits now

Yeah thats the famous Stelvio Pass that was shown on Top Gear a few series ago and wanted to go ever since should be a good trip!

Lol im still checking up on here daily so haven't missed much but just been using the car and awaiting the crap weather to pass before attempting getting on my back on the driveway lol!

With regards the car all the weight is over the front wheels so had it been the same at the front of the car it would of been a different story! I did put another axle stand under in the same place before i got under though :beerchug:

As above its to the same spec as that one Costco are selling i think it may be the same make too! I got mine off ebay a couple of years ago and it hasn't fell apart anywhere yet like the smaller Machine Mart ones and it is very sturdy! Well recommended by me. It copes with the RS without a sweat
