The plastic trim on the bottom of the door will be corroded inside which pushes the outer surface out. Don't worry it is only the trim not the door but I doubt if Audi will replace it foc.
Trims are about £65 each plus painting.

Is it just me or is there no reason been mentioned for the coil pack replacements ??

I know they have a bit of history with problems, but what is it this time ?

I am considering wether or not to get them done (I'm not a main dealer slave  ) Car is running Aok at 49k miles.

This is a great thread for the coil pack issue, but if anyone who has had issues fixed and wants to contribute to the new Audi Dealer Review Database thread at http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=90760
then please feel free.
Good and bad experiences please.

Many thanks

Ask them about workshop campaign 28E9. [Coil Packs numbered 07K 905 715D or F are satisfactory]

When mine was in getting MOT'd I asked about the coil packs, they said they'd already checked and it was fine.
Yet they know nothing about SW0090.....

Ask, just to be sure.
