Hi all
Sorry ive been so quiet
As you can see ive been busy with the RS and also building a car from scratch for the wife.
I know its sometimes hard for the purists but i do care what i do to these cars and always try to be as original as possible.
Anyhow im sure you.ve seen the pics, this all sort of happened by chance.
I met a few guys from the forum at aitp inc a a guy who had just fitted a revolution carbon intake that i wanted.
As a joke i said ow if you want to sell it gimme a shout.Next thing i was in vegas (i'm not as big time as it sounds lol) i got an email, jules do you want the intake
as the neighbours think its a bit boomy.Of course the answer was yes as always after a deal in october.
Then as a joke somewhere i mentionead about the charger and i either contacted Audi uk superchargers or vice versa and after alot
of to a fro'ing we finally did the deal.Matt was very good to deal with and had his work cut out in the time period as i wanted it done for March and the show opener.
I did as much research as i could and as always lee wong was fantastic in his help and letting me drive his lovely apr charged car a few times to check
i was doing the right thing.
I know the pes is a little down on bhp but the torque is great so brilliant for on our roads. Also the sound i just loved the whine on the videos i'd seen.
There was only going to be one company to fit it as ive used Grizz for years so can also call him a friend
Its a good job we're friends because im a right fussy bugger and didnt just want a standard looking install or it wouldnt be me lol.
So we stripped the charger and i had it powdercoated body colour, then we added the red pipework and Grizz (unit20) also sorted me getting the calipers repainted.
The final piece of the puzzle was speaking to Si at Loba to get a clutch sorted so i could sort some launches out, again a great service and delivery was sorted
really quickly
I'm just popping out of the office but will update a few pics when im back and add a few more bits
