They can do it while you wait, Southampton Audi changed all 8 of mine while I waited and it only took just over an hour.

Yes, take it in now (assuming they have replacements in stock). Its not guaranteed that yours will need changing though.

Had all mine replaced by Camberley Audi under recall.

Can't feel any difference whatsoever nor did I have any issues before. Just my luck the new ones will not be as reliable as the old

Never had any coil packs changed before in 11 years of Audi ownership, and never had any problems - so I've got my fingers crossed that a problem hasn't been created by changing them...

Mine have just been changed as part of my service schedule today; they reckon it is a different manufacturer for the modified packs.

Be afraid... changing manufacturer could be good, or it could be bad.

Read my earlier post... all 8 of mine have already been changed by Southampton Audi!

In 11 years of Audi ownership I've never had a coilpack fail so I was nervous about getting them changed, and hearing that the new ones are from a different manufacturer has just added to my nervousness - I'm a great believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it".

Just had an oil service and they also changed the coil packs it took about 2hrs. I also have an issue with slight corrosion on the black panel that the mirror is attached too and the bottom of the door plastic panel has moved out slightly. Await too hear the outcome
