Same stutter / hesitancy here mate :bigwave:

started a thread on it - mine was pretty bad just changed a full set of coil packs and its much better than before but its a characteristic of the engine imo
still got just a little bit so may check my lalalalabamba sensors - if ive got the balls to crawl under the car in this weather

Cheers lads! I had a feeling it would be being a highly tuned engine! Hoping it will perform better when I treat it to MRC stage 2! It's had the coil pack recall! Being the first winter I have had i thought I would ask! As its only done is since the cold weather set in! Before then it didn't miss a beat!

Roy that sounds good to me mate will check it out guessing its in the events section? Went this year and it was awesome!

Took the car to the revo meet yesterday and the owner of a very nice GTR came over to look at my car and introduced himself as the Founder and Director of this club so was good to meet him.

Image

No pictures of my car as it was filthy! I Turned up on the off chance and one of the Revo guys said he would get my RS on the front as it was the only one there but i got a bit carried away looking at the other potential and it didnt happen.

Some nice motors indeed and a nice workshop

Tonight after giving the car its weekly wash and hover i decided to break down the inlet manifold to put in the parts washer at work tomorrow before i see what material i need to take away! its scary how loosely the core plugs are in for the swirl flaps i thought i would need to slide hammer them out but they just knocked out

the shaft which the swirl flaps attach to

the flaps removed

i would be interested to know the history of the donor engine of this inlet as a lot of swarf was found in the bottom of the inlet which is never a good sign on the inlet side of things

That Focus looks mean in matt black! Makes me think about doing mine but I think I'd miss the shininess.

Did the LED number plate lights work ? Where did you source them? They are almost too bright ;)

Nick, I bought the older version of these ones (from the same seller):
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-05 ... 769&_uhb=1

I've had them for probably about a year now with no errors.

yup got them from the guy above and they are error free! they were allways going to be brighter than bulbs but dont think its to much and adds to the character of the car bringing it to the current age of brighter lighting! LED rears next :)

I was surprised by how yellow and dirty the original ones were when I took them out.

What's that you're carbon skinning Ben? How's it going with porting/polishing that intake you got?
