Just made this change to both the side lights & the DRLs. Took about an hour from start to finish most of which was re-clipping the air-vent thing which seems to have been badly assembled when serviced. Turning the DRL fittings was awkward so some long-nose pliers would be a good idea but didn't bother with myself.

Bought the bulbs from www.piaaonline.co.uk in the end as the previous mentioned suppliers did not have stock & was only place that had both bulbs for sale - came next day, well packed but I think a little more expensive although ex-rate may be the cause...

I also put the H11 Philips CrystalVision 4300K into the Fogs. Much improved.

Ha Ha - given I don't use fogs (scares me in the dark when turn the auto-lights off to find the on again) or coming home lights I might have to pass on these !

I did wonder why had spent so much on what are just little wedge bulbs until I saw the blue ones that were free with the H11s !

Can we put LEDs in the wedges (side/parking lights) or do these trigger a fault too ?

I believe PIAA do a LED bulb with added electronics to overcome this issue...trouble is this little box of tricks added on makes installation a bit too tight!

Word of caution! My Car just failed the MOT with the PIAA's in - switch them out before you take them in for it..

Cant have a blue tinge apparently? I was shocked at first, but do remember a similar issue in the past...

ANY blue lights (or lights that look blue to the MOT tester) on a non-emergency service vehicle are not only an MOT failure but also illegal and are a reason for the Police to stop you.

I thought you had the white light LED and not the blue tint one, do you have a pic? was it Audi who did the MOT?

The PIAA superwhite bulbs are either silver reflective 1/2 coated or white though and emit white light?
