Michelin PS4’s Pirelli P Zero

No it’s not another M v P debate...
I’m about to purchase a set of MPS4’s, my question is how does the side wall compare with the P Zero’s aesthetically....the images I’ve seen suggest the Michelin is more square/bulky in looks...anyone have any close shots?
I don’t want the tractor look hence me holding off purchasing. I do like the profile of the P Zero’s but read they’re not the best compared to the Michelin’s.

Not sure about MPS4s as not used them, but used the previous MPSS on many cars, and they have a very square and slender sidewall with no tyre protection that the P Zeros on my RS4 have, so if anything I'd say the Pirellis have the bulkier sidewall profile.

MPS4s have a "reasonable" amount of protection, not a slender sidewall. Well, mine do...…

Are you thinking PS4 or PS4S? Go for the latter. There is some sidewall protection, but they are great tyres, wet or dry. By far the strongest front end I've had from any mainstream tyre over 13 years. Only downside is that they ride a little less smoothly than the Goodyear F1 asymmetrics that preceded them. It's been a while since I've had Pirellis, but don't recall them winning any tests recently.

Yes, just to clarify, mine are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (S for Sport) tyres, previously I had Michelin Pilot Super Sport, which they supercede.
The Standard MPS4 (NO S for sport) is a different, more "standard" tyre. It can be confusing when we don't know if people are adding the "s" as a plural or "sport".

How do you find the 4S compared to the SS? Supposed to be slightly better wet weather grip as i found the MPSS werent great in this aspect.

The 4S are great in the wet, even from cold. Even better than the Goodyears, which I had thought were top-notch.
