I'd try selling the car with them on first, it'll stand out a bit from all of the others.

If no luck, then real world values would be about £2k + a good condition steel setup swap. Or £3k outright sale. Forget the eBay advertised values; they've been like that for years and never sell.
Spot on I'd say.

I think I would be happy with 2.5k+ plus a good set of standards (pref with receipt so can use that as purchase proof)

The higher offer the better - I am based between wakefield West yorks and Derby East Midlands depending what day/date

Please pm if you are genuinely interested and we can come to a deal ps I am no mechanic so ideally you can take charge of the swap or we can go halfs on the costs of paying a mechanic to swap the stuff over

Another thing to factor into the cost to swap back to steels, beside the physical change, the car will need to be reconfigured for the steel set up which can only be done by Audi or someone with the correct 'diagnostic' equipment.
When a ceramic setup is fitted to a car manufactured originally with steels, the kit from Audi comes with an installation cd requiring the reconfiguring of the car for ceramics - I presume that the reverse is required reverting back to steels.
I don't know why there is a requirement for the reconfiguring when changing the brake set up - I only know it has to be done because my B7 had ceramics fitted from steels in 2010 under a goodwill gesture from Audi after an ongoing issue with brake judder and this was part of the installation.

This is easily done with VCDS, just need to click a couple of boxes.

I paid £2.5 for a mint set here a few months back now, this was well cheap and would have expected somewhere closer to the 4k mark. I then sold on my steels for dirt, around £800 from memory.

People are ceramic mad but can't image you getting anything over 4k depending on condition.

I’ve sold a ceramics in px for steel twice .... I got c.£2k plus steel set up.

What is the car btw? Sprint blue saloon with ceramics is a very desirable car !

I get the impression they've already been removed, sold/exchanged, and fitted by their new owner! Image
