TT RS steering wheel

Post by hector8 » Sun Jan 29, 2017 11:17 pm

Hello

If I purchase a TT RS steering wheel , could someone confirm the wheel code needed to swap into my RS4 (which has the MFSW currently, sport button on dash)

8J 4F0 419 091 CB
or
8J0 419 091 N

Secondly, what airbag is needed please??

Thanks

I fitter a TT RS wheel in December, I didn't have to use any codes and was a 10 min swap over along with The TT RS airbag

If you have the button on the dash then it is a straight swap.

You would be better off buying the wheel complete with the airbag. Buying them seperately is expensive and you run the risk of connectors/ looms being damaged as a wheel that is sold without an airbag has usually had an impact and little car is taken in removing the nackered bag

Thanks.

The codes I am asking about are the part numbers of the TT RS wheel.

Is there just one version of it. In otherwords if I buy a TT RS wheel with airbag it will fit.

Will try and get one with the airbag then. Cheers.

You want the steering wheel from a manual TT RS as I believe some were manual and some were auto so some wheels will have the gear change paddles.

Been speaking with this guy and he says the latest facelift S line wheel is much thicker than the TT RS and is plug and play
