Expensive Jan!

Post by markshepps » Fri Jan 27, 2017 3:17 pm

She's pushing my patience!

Jobs needed this month:
- Clutch, FlyWheel etc.
- New lower front suspension arms (MOT requirement)
- Replacement upper arm suspension bushes (MOT requirement)
- Headlight bulb blew 2 days after getting her back - so 2 new D1s & PIAA DRL's + bumper off pain in the arse + acquiring tools to do the job (bought 3 different extensions to get down that stupid hole in the bumper for headlight removal - 2 fit in the hole, but were too fat to get to the actual bolt head).
- 4 new tyres going on tomorrow (GY F1's) - (MOT requirement - Actually passed me, but I promised to get them done ASAP... They're bold!).

Oh and some scally's tried to pinch her from the garage when she was in for Clutch.... Broke into the garage, took the keys and tried to drive away... No gearbox in the car, so didn't get anywhere, but put a nice fat dent in the door... Garage sorting, but still... All at once.

Well over 3k in total + lots of swearing :drink:

Glad January is nearly over!

If the tyres nearly failed an MOT you shouldn't even own a car like this.

No excuse for bald tyres on any car, especially in winter.

It's not only yourself you're a danger to.
