CamSpec in Crawley or try QS Tuning.

Bit of a result! Audi agreed to cover the cost of the springs so I just pay labor. Happy with that :)

Hey Mike, Why did they agree to cover the cost of springs? Did you buy the car from a dealer recently? I had one of mine snap a pig tail too, about 1.5 inches of spring and had to replace both rear springs. A buddy of mine had his go in the same way too.

Hey dave,

Not 100% but I assume Audi covered it for Mike because he gets the car serviced
with them.

Dave - Combination of things really
The car was bought there originally and has nearly full service history with them, I'm the 3rd Owner and use them all the time like murph said.
Also they did a "Health check" on the car a while back and it wasn't coppped so I just pushed my luck a bit!

Springs are about £90 each, iirc.
So it's a small bit steep IMO.

Audi covered the cost of the springs so I paid just labour, was 2 hours so €200.

If you car has full history I'd push for a warranty contribution

Yeah it does and all work has been done at audi. I'll try that. By the sounds of it £420 is a rip off

So I took the car to my local stealer and they said you only need to replace the spring which is cracked and not the pair??? I always thought you would replace both springs at the same time?

Yeah, I'd do both always for suspension items.
What's to say the other one won't give out soon?
