B8 S4 Seats - Help

Hi All,

ive just bought some B8 S4 seats to put into my B7 RS4 and tried to do lots of research into fitting them. I currently have the comfort seats in my car and so theyre electric and heated as it stands.
I have a mate who knows his stuff with this kind of thing and from looking into it changing the power connectors to work seems simple enough as i have pinout diagrams for both sets etc..
Only question is, will the airbag connector be a simple swap/splice scenario too? ive read both the B7 and B8 are dual stage and so they should work in theory but i cant find any info on the resistance required and don't want to plug them in for them to explode! ha.
Ive also read about possibly having an issue with the passenger presence system being different and maybe having to move the one from the B7 seats into the B8?

Anyone have any experience with this at all?
Last thing ive seen on this topic was from a year or so ago so thought someone must have actually done it by now?!

Well, I asked here the other way around (B7 RS4 buckets --> B8.5) and got 0 (=zero) answers.

I was also planning to make adapters for the connectors but ended up selling my B7 bucket seats and bought B8 seats instead.
