Tubi exhaust question

Post by birdiemachine » Wed Aug 17, 2016 11:48 am

In my quest to make the loudest rs4 known to man and to annoy all dogs within a 6 mile radius I have purchased a second hand Tubi off eBay.

Question is how do I know if it is the Rumore? The seller hasn't a clue he just knows his Mrs didn't like it.

Have attached some photos.

Also how will I fit this to a milltek non Res cat back with sports cats?

Cheers lads!

I can check the part number for my Rumore when I get home.

To make it fit you have 2 options; modify the Tubi or the milltek.
The easiest option is to just cut the Tubi and it will then clamp onto the Milltek.
If you want to modify the Milltek to fit then that will involve cutting and welding / bending etc.
I went for the Tubi option and cut them back slighty to mate onto the Milltek centre section.

Do they all have 'style' engraved onto them, makes them appear like replicas?

The full name is Tubi Style if that's what you mean, or did you mean the way it was engraved?

I don't recall them doing black ovals, but they could have been painted by the owner.

FYI, that looks like a serial number to me, not a part number.

Ahh that explains it Mike, I never knew they were called Tubi Style.

I can see oval tips but not black ones on eurospares.

Also the part number for Rumore ends with AR or ARO instead of A or AO.

FYI, mine was deafening with cats!!!! and I like a loud exhaust! I can't imagine what sort of noise a decat version will make!
